It's nice that I enjoy the drive between Rapid City and Ogallala. I took a few pictures of the scenery on my return trip earlier this month. I like to imagine what it must have been like to travel via wagon train...we are so lucky to have paved roads today!
Now these are some pretty cool sandhills!

I'm sure they were thinking, "Are we there yet?" Then again, they could have been wondering how many more days until they got to Ft. Laramie.
